A bit about the role...

 

Homes England has been entrusted with significant increased funding and responsibility and it’s an exciting and pivotal time in Homes England’s journey towards becoming the National Housing Bank (NHB). 

 

This role will be mainly involved in analysing, challenging, and recommending for approval or approving the equity and guarantee transactions the National Housing Bank will make.

 

This is a great chance to be part of the Team which provides investment support in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose that is looking to help deliver complex and impactful projects across its equity and guarantees portfolios.

 

You will be joining our small but highly experienced team. We believe in delivering a first-class customer service, pragmatically resolving risks and challenges and taking collaborative and innovative approach to issues. 

 

Working in a team with the Head of Risk Lending Products, this post plays a critical role in ensuring the Lending Products Risk Team deliver high quality investment decision recommendations and approvals across Homes England – and the National Housing Bank. You will primarily ensure efficient, consistent and effective risk review to a variety of lending propositions to help Homes England deliver on the ambitious objectives set out by the Government. 

 

The role will also cover a wider assurance activities and maintenance of investment standards across the investment portfolio.

 

 

A bit about you…

 

You'll be comfortable working across multiple workstreams and be able to use your credit risk, stakeholder and project management skills to quickly adapt to a variety of projects and tasks. You’ll have a great knowledge base but be keen to learn and deploy your existing expertise and knowledge in a variety of situations.

You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a team and wider housing delivery agency.
