As part of the team delivering the Cladding Safety Scheme, you will play a crucial role in supporting applicants to progress their funding applications to fix unsafe cladding on 11m+ blocks of flats. You will be joining our enthusiastic team, who are committed to making a positive change in this sector. This is a great chance to join our fast growing, national organisation in a role that carries real social purpose.
Working in the Operations team alongside Officers, Managers and other Senior Managers you will support the operational delivery of the programme by providing first class support to applicants. You will build your knowledge of systems and process quickly in order to provide quality advice and lead on moving buildings which have a cladding safety issue through the scheme at pace. You will use data to target applicants and stakeholders who are not progressing remediation projects in line with expected timeframes and use initiative and problem-solving skills to remove blockers to progress applications and gather in intelligence to enable escalation when needed.
As well as building relationships within the Operations and wider CSS team you will liaise closely with stakeholders and the service administrator who deliver the frontline processes in order to provide the best outcomes for leaseholders and residents.
Utilising your commitment to deliver excellent customer service, you will ensure the more complex remediation projects progress through the programme at pace, meeting ambitious targets and providing efficient applicant support to keep things on track.
You will benefit from some construction project experience to enable you to impact risks whilst buildings are on site. You do not need to necessarily hold a technical qualification but will be able to demonstrate how you have worked across a range of construction projects and been able to unblock risks making informed and early decisions.
You will be happy working in a role with a large volume of applications where the tasks vary and pace is critical to our success. You will have a good eye for detail and be looking to build a strong understanding of how you can work with stakeholders to resolve issues and meet challenging targets.
You will enjoy interacting with third parties, such as applicants, gathering important data and feedback to help us manage our programme and funding. You will also enjoy working in an innovative and engaging way, be flexible and use your people skills to negotiate and persuade where appropriate and able to have difficult conversations to help find solutions.
You will have a positive outlook, enjoy a challenge, be open to learning and want to help applicants to the Cladding Safety Scheme get their buildings fixed for the benefit of their residents to feel safe in their home.
You will be comfortable following set processes and in using a range of IT systems, picking up the how through basic training and self-reference to user guides. You will be confident in using Microsoft tools such as Outlook and Excel to maximise your productivity.
