Working in a team with our Head of Estate Management, the Procurement and Contract Delivery Specialist will play a critical role in leading and shaping a newly established Estate Management Procurement and Contract Delivery team, providing a high-quality contract and performance management service to the Estates Management function, and wider Homes England teams if required. You will be joining our small but enthusiastic and experienced team of 23 people, who are committed to making positive change in how we ensure full compliance with procurement legislation and internal policies, while driving value for money, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic projects around supplier engagement, governance, and risk management. There are some exciting and creative projects to get involved with, and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day-to-day delivery whilst bringing fresh thinking and innovative solutions to procurement and contract delivery.
You’ll be comfortable supporting the Estates Management function with complex procurement and contract delivery issues, aiming to resolve challenges efficiently and in compliance with legislation. You will be proficient in developing procurement strategies, managing frameworks, and driving supplier performance through KPIs and governance.
Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level, and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as an Estates Management team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade effectively.
As an experienced property sector procurement specialist, you’ll know how to lead teams effectively and work inclusively with colleagues across multiple functions to achieve shared goals.
