Internal job title: Manager - Continuous Improvement
Working in a team led by our Senior Continuous Improvement Manager, the Improvement Delivery Partner will play a critical role in working with teams to identify and deliver improvements to processes and ways of working across Homes England. You will be joining our newly formed CI team committed to making a positive change to how our services are delivered.
We have established a CI framework, rooted in the kaizen concept of continual small-scale change, to help us deliver rapid solutions. This is a rare chance to deliver hands on tactical improvements that improve day to day operations, improving colleague satisfaction and contributing to the strategic goals of the Agency by improving efficiency and effectiveness.
You’ll be comfortable working with a multitude of stakeholders across all levels to help them identify and implement rapid improvements. Your stakeholder management and influencing skills will be second to none and you will inspire confidence in others as you guide them through the CI framework to realise small-scale, tangible improvements.
You’ll be comfortable working on multiple improvement initiatives concurrently, through both identifying and delivering improvements yourself, and supporting others to make improvements. You’ll be equally comfortable across a range of tasks, from supporting teams to ensure consistency by developing guidance and templates through to attending meetings with senior leaders to discuss how CI can enhance operations. You’ll be proficient in facilitating discussions and workshops to get to the root cause of a problem, quickly able to understand others’ processes and drivers to come up with impactful solutions.
Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as an Agency.
As an experienced improvement professional you’ll understand the importance of rapid small-scale change, how to manage relationships with colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
