Working within the HR management information and data team in the Chief Operating Office, the HR Data Analyst will play a key role in turning complex workforce information into clear, actionable insight for HR and business leaders. You’ll help shape how people data is used across HR - improving systems and processes, strengthening data governance, and producing dashboards and reports that support organisational priorities.
You’ll join a friendly, highly skilled team championing the use of data across HR and the wider organisation. This is a chance to help shape the future of our people analytics in a growing, national organisation with real social purpose - working with key stakeholders, you’ll ensure efficient, consistent and effective HR data management, reporting and analysis.
Day to day, you’ll help manage HR systems, deliver accurate workforce analysis, improve HR data processes, and build high quality dashboards in tools like Excel and Power BI. You’ll collaborate across HR and with other teams to understand resourcing questions, produce reports, support strategic workforce planning, and communicate complex findings in ways that are easy for non specialists to use. You’ll also champion data integrity and GDPR compliant practices in everything you produce.
You’re comfortable supporting colleagues with complex people data questions, aiming to turn data into decisions. You’re proficient in Excel, Power BI and Microsoft platforms, with experience working across data systems and visualisation tools. You communicate clearly with both technical and non technical audiences, and you can translate complex information into accessible, understandable content. You have a continuous improvement mindset and use technology to enhance efficiency and reliability.
You’re resilient, collaborative and confident engaging senior stakeholders. You can prioritise effectively in a fast paced environment and deliver accurate outputs to deadline. Knowledge of data architecture, governance and data analytics is essential; direct experience of working with HR data and systems is desirable. Above all, you champion inclusive, evidence based practice and enjoy influencing through insight.
