Working within a team led by the Delivery Director, the Digital Change Assistant Director will play a critical role in leading technical delivery as part of a complex transformation programme. You will be joining a large and talented team committed to making positive change in how we successfully deliver the digital and technological components of Homes England’s strategic and ambitious multi-year transformation programme.
The Delivery Director promotes first-class customer service, resolving blockers informally wherever possible, and taking an innovative and creative approach to transformational and supplier issues. They encourage collaborative and flexible working to foster strong decision-making and problem-solving within the team, maximising business impact while operating within affordability constraints.

Working with key stakeholders ranging from Ministers and Executive-level sponsors to digital and business change delivery teams and SMEs, you will lead a professional technical team to ensure effective supplier management and accountability. You will underpin successful digital delivery, aligning the approach with Homes England’s strategy, meeting relevant digital standards, and providing the technical expertise needed to inform delivery plans.
The role will support the design and delivery of the strategic integrated change programme. There are some ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the digital offering. This is a key leadership role that is suited towards an experienced technical leader who has led on the delivery of large scale digital changes within Government.
You'll operate with, and lead Digital resources embedded in within the Programme’s workstream – ensuring overall coherence and effectiveness of delivery. Having excellent stakeholder management skills, acting as the point of technical / digital leadership for the Programme. An experienced digital leader equipped to work on large scale digitally enabled change programmes within Government, managing an eco-system of suppliers and permanent staff, to ensure the programme delivers to time, cost and quality. You must be experienced in the digital lifecycle including the management of transition and end of life risks, able to understand cyber risk and balance complexity with business impact. Understanding of the government functional standards and capable of managing relationships across a wide-ranging network is essential.
