Interviews will take place week commencing 14/7/2025

A bit about the role...

You will play a key role in supporting the planning and delivery of Agency activity at flagship sector events like MIPIM and UKREIIF, alongside owned Agency events like Homes England Live.

Working closely with the Events and External Relations Manager, you’ll coordinate activities, manage resources, handle contracts, liaise with venues, and work with AV specialists to ensure everything is set up perfectly, often travelling to venues themselves for site recces or to deliver an event.

You will build strong relationships with conference organisers, event agencies, trade bodies, and partners to ensure seamless event execution.

Additionally, you will help manage the event inbox daily, responding promptly to triage speaking opportunities and event invitations across the Agency. You will effectively communicate queries, identify suitable speakers, and on occasion manage logistics to confirm attendance, ensuring colleagues have everything they need leading up to the event.

You will be regularly liaising with colleagues from across the Agency, including Heads of Office and Executive Assistants, to coordinate and confirm speaking opportunities for senior management, ensuring every detail is aligned and executed flawlessly.

No two days are alike in this dynamic role, which calls for collaboration, sound decision-making, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. You will need professionalism, accuracy, and a healthy dose of enthusiasm to navigate this fast-paced environment.

While previous experience in an events team is desirable, the role will deepen your understanding of the complexities of event management.

Join our passionate and friendly team dedicated to delivering engaging, purpose-driven events with a touch of fun. Our work is fuelled by creativity, curiosity, and commitment, as we collaborate closely with the wider communications team and various internal and external stakeholders.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the story of a fast-growing national organisation with a genuine social mission.

This role will require travel on a monthly basis with occasional overnight stays. All travel expenses will be covered by Homes England.

A bit about you…

You are a dynamic and skilled organiser who can hit the ground running, with a passion for making a positive impact through teamwork. Thriving in fast-paced environments, you bring proven experience in events planning and delivery, along with strong project management skills that enable you to effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

You have strong problem-solving abilities, enabling you to remain calm under pressure, meet tight deadlines with a proactive approach, and have a keen eye for detail.

You are a natural collaborator, skilled at relationship building and working closely with senior colleagues and fostering strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Confident and persuasive, you excel in negotiating key elements to ensure events run smoothly and achieve their objectives.
